Virrantó Playmobile’s mission is to support schoolchildren in their physical and psychological development and to help them become adults who are able to find their way in the world, achieve their goals and make responsible decisions. To this end, we've equipped Virrantó Playmobile with numerous boardgames, role play games and educational toys, and we've created an arts and crafts corner too in order to stimulate children’s creativity. Moreover, there is a wide selection of books, CDs and DVDs. All equipments of the bus can easily be re-arranged, so that the Children Paradise is quickly converted into a mobile classroom. In just a matter of seconds state-of-the-art visual aids can replace all the games and toys allowing the place to transform into an educational space of any school subject. Additionally, a projector and a screen for both educational and leisure use are also included in the equipment. Furthermore, toys and sports equipment can all be transported in the spacious load compartment of the bus, so you can build any playgrounds and sport parks according to your needs.
Virrantó Playmobile, this integrated mobile educational and leisure institution serving public educational purposes, is for the benefit of every schoolchildren. It helps the young children of the next generation in their personal development and in finding their own talents so as to help them become independent, satisfied and happy adults. We teach the children how to fish instead of giving them the fish.
Article 31 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child signed on 20th November, 1989 sets out:
1. States Parties recognize the right of the child to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts.
2. States Parties shall respect and promote the right of the child to participate fully in cultural and artistic life and shall encourage the provision of appropriate and equal opportunities for cultural, artistic, recreational and leisure activity (link ).
The website of the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights reads as follows: “children have the right to be children”. The right to engage in play is rather regarded as a “forgotten” right, perhaps because in the world of adults it is viewed as more of a luxury than a necessity. However, play is an essential prerequisite for development. Children who are deprived from their right to engage in play for any reason lack important social and individual skills, and will have difficulties in learning the rules that govern adult society (link ).
Upon entering the Virrantó Playbus you may leave your shoes and coats in the cabinet behind the driver's compartment.
The ladies first rule also applies inside the Virrantó Playbus: right behind the cabinet a dollhouse, a toy kitchen, plush animals, and different role play games await the girls. This is where all the costumes for girls and boys are kept too. Would you like to play while dressed up as a princess, Cindarella, Zorro or Superman? Everyday can be a carnival inside the Virrantó Playbus! Make the costume complete by putting on face paint, which you can also find in all colors with the brushes and patterns on board.
In the other side of the bus there is a table for 10, suitable for birthday parties and arts and crafts activities. It is a perfect place for playing boardgames, cards and domino late into the night. On the partition shelf behind the table there is plenty of space for boardgames and arts and crafts accessories. Beyond the shelf there is a car racing track and a toy railway for boys and for girls who like to play boy's games. Both can be constructed according to your preferences. No need to pay attention to speed limit, so step on the gas!
On the other side, you will find all the static toys. The Lego, the Geomag, the Eitech and other constructional toys are there to help you show your talent as a structural engineer and architect. And if you feel like exercising
a bit, go ahead and play table football, which is just behind you!
At the back of the bus there is a room separated by a thick curtain, where you can play on the computer or watch DVD with tranquility. If both are being used, go ahead and chose an exciting children detective story or a romantic novel from the bookshelf and make yourselves comfortable in one of the beanbags!
There are fans inside the bus relieving you in the summer heat, while in wintertime stationary heaters ensure the nice and warm weather. Virrantó Playbus is an ideal place where children aged between 4 and 14 can play with a great variety of games, have fun and enjoy themselves anytime of the year.
